United inches and square feet
Price a series by a base plus a rate per united inch (width + height), by a size grid, or per square foot. Glazing upgrades such as Low-E, laminated or tempered per square foot, anodized or painted finishes as a percentage, screens per united inch, and per-unit minimum charges all apply as published.
Rules you already follow
Fixed units take no screens or limiters; oversize laminated glass goes to engineering review. Each rule shows its reason and, where possible, the change that fixes it.
From the window schedule
Import the architect's schedule as CSV, Excel or PDF, and translate window type codes (A, B, C) and finish codes to your series and finishes once. When an addendum arrives, re-quote and print exactly what changed.
Dealer pricing and online acceptance
Give each dealer or distributor a price level (list × multiplier), then send the quote as a private link they accept with a PO number.
What it does not do yet
ReadyVariant does not calculate U-factor, SHGC or structural loads, and mulled assemblies are quoted as separate units with a mulling adder. Sample prices are illustrative.
