How it works
From price books to an issued quote.
The goal is a quote you can trust and explain. Start with your own price books and a quote you already sent, then move through these four steps.
1. Create your workspace
Sign up with your name, company, email and password, then verify your email. Invite your estimators and viewers once you’re in. Try the sample door and frame project first to see the whole flow with illustrative prices.
2. Upload and confirm your price books
Upload your door and frame price books. Confirm each proposed conversion and footnote, map the catalog to the shared opening inputs (width, height, hand, fire label, leaves), and save reference quotes. Publish when every reference passes.
3. Import the door schedule
Upload the contractor’s or architect’s schedule as CSV, Excel or the PDF drawing sheets. Map its columns, translate its codes into your door and frame choices, and add the hardware sets: each opening’s preps (lock or exit device, closer, electric strike, power transfer, door position switch) are priced from your adders and traced to the hardware line they came from. Add the 08 11 13 spec section and its exterior and interior requirements are applied with their clause numbers, and schedule codes that fall short are flagged. Resolve the exceptions in groups. Re-import a revised schedule later and see what changed, mark by mark.
4. Issue it, send it, get the PO
Review the openings in a spreadsheet-style grid, add alternates, clarifications and exclusions, and issue the quote under your company name and logo. Send the customer a private link: they view and print the quote, choose alternates and accept it online with a PO number and typed signature, and you are notified. Prefer your own email? Copy the link, download the PDF, or export the schedule as CSV.
