01

What Infor CPQ covers

Infor describes a CPQ with 3D visualization for interactive buying, a composable configuration engine, automatic document assembly, and the dynamic generation of SKUs, order information, BOMs, routings and kitted packing instructions, with out-of-the-box integration for quoting, ordering, drawings and BOMs. That fits manufacturers whose quote must flow straight into manufacturing planning, especially on Infor systems.

Where ReadyVariant fits

ReadyVariant is for manufacturers who price from a published book and quote from schedules: hollow metal doors and frames, windows, louvers and grilles. Upload the price book as it is, confirm each conversion, check it against quotes you already sent, then import a schedule and issue a quote the customer accepts online with a PO number.

03

What you would give up

ReadyVariant does not produce 3D visuals, BOMs, routings or packing instructions, and it does not connect to an ERP. After acceptance it gives you an order acknowledgment and a production CSV without prices for your existing process. If your quote must create manufacturing data automatically, test that path with a real order before choosing.

04

Test one complete order

Follow a representative request from schedule to accepted quote to production release, and note every place information is entered again. Compare the setup and maintenance effort as well as the demo. Confirm modules and implementation scope with Infor. ReadyVariant has not published paid pricing, and this page makes no cost or equivalence claim.
